Beyond What You See | Youshan Meidi Villa | 2026 CEDIA Best Integrated Home Level III Winner

30 October 2026.

Gold Coast, Australia — 28 October 2026. At the CEDIA Smart Home Awards Asia Pacific, ZENE won Best Integrated Home Level III for the Youshan Meidi Villa in Beijing.

It is ZENE’s first CEDIA Best Integrated Home award since the company was founded in 2007. Long associated with private cinemas, ZENE brought the same standard of design and delivery to the house as a whole.

The 2026 theme, “Beyond What You See,” is the idea behind the project: the best technology does not ask to be noticed. It is felt in the way the house is lived in.

About the award

Founded in 1989, CEDIA is the Association for Smart Home Professionals. Its Smart Home Awards are among the field’s established international honours. In 2026 the Asia Pacific Best Integrated Home category named winners at Levels I, II and III. ZENE won Level III.

The official line is: Best Integrated Home Level III — Winner: Zene Private Theater, Youshan Meidi Villa (China). CEDIA published the winners on 29 October 2026. The ceremony was held on 28 October at The Island Gold Coast. CEDIA announcement.

A whole-home installation is not a stack of devices. Audio, lighting, control and interior design have to work as one, and the system has to disappear into daily life. At Youshan Meidi Villa, the craft stays in the background.

Since 2007 ZENE has delivered more than 35,000 whole-home projects and built a network of more than 200 authorised experience centres, from Beijing, Shanghai and Foshan to San Francisco, Boston, Tokyo and Hokkaido.

Our thanks to CEDIA and the Asia Pacific judges, to the owners of Youshan Meidi Villa, to the ZENE team, and to partners including Control4, Wisdom Audio, Lutron and Waterfall.

ZENE has received 20 international awards. See Awards. Photographs of this project are in Award cases.
